Reserve your dates.
GrandBlue Vista is available by direct inquiry. Share your preferred dates and we will confirm personally within the day.
How a direct reservation works.
Choose your arrival and departure nights on the calendar above and the summary rebuilds itself: nightly rate, number of nights, any seasonal adjustment, and the total for the stay. Dates shown as unavailable are already reserved. Rates are quoted in euro for the whole apartment — two bedrooms, sleeping four — and include linen, towels, utilities, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and the end-of-stay clean.
To confirm, add your guest details, accept the terms, and settle a 50% deposit by card through Stripe or by bank transfer to our Revolut account; the QR code and IBAN are shown beside the payment panel. The balance is due before arrival. You will receive a written confirmation by email straight away, and your door code and arrival instructions in the guest portal about a week before check-in.
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out at 10:00, and both are usually flexible when the calendar allows. Longer stays of a week or more, and shoulder-season dates in May, June, October and November, are often open to a better rate — ask before you book. If you would rather talk it through first, send an enquiry or message us on WhatsApp and we will reply the same day.
Rates, deposits and cancellations.
Nightly rates are €300 in high season — July, August and September — and €200 for the rest of the year, for up to four guests, with no extra charge per person. The price shown in the summary is the full price: linen, towels, utilities, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and the end-of-stay clean are all included, and there is no cleaning surcharge added at checkout. Malta's eco-contribution of €0.50 per adult per night, capped at €5 per stay, is collected on arrival as the law requires.
A 50% deposit confirms the dates and takes them off the calendar immediately; the balance is due fourteen days before arrival, or on arrival for last-minute bookings. Cancel more than thirty days out and the deposit is refunded in full. Between thirty and fourteen days we hold it as credit against any other dates within twelve months. Inside fourteen days the deposit is retained, though if we manage to re-let the nights we refund what we recover. Ferry delays and flight disruption on the day of arrival are never treated as a cancellation — the apartment waits, whatever time you reach the bay.
Minimum stay is two nights outside high season and three nights in July, August and September, and a week or more usually earns a reduction worth asking about. The promo code field accepts current offers and applies the discount to the total before the deposit is calculated. Dates greyed out on the calendar are already taken; if the week you want is nearly free, message us anyway, because a single blocked night can sometimes be moved.
Choosing your dates on Gozo.
Every season on the island reads differently from the terrace. May and June bring warm water, long light and quiet paths along the north coast, and they are the months guests most often return for. July and August are loud in the best sense: the festa bands rehearse in the square, the bay fills with swimmers by nine in the morning, and the sea holds its heat until well after dark. September keeps the summer water with half the crowds, October is still swimming weather for most visitors, and the winter months are green, walkable and unusually generous — the coastal walk to Wied il-Għasri is at its best when the fields are in flower and the light is low.
Plan the ferry into your arrival day. The Ċirkewwa crossing takes twenty-five minutes and runs through the night, but the queue on a summer Friday afternoon can add an hour, so we suggest arriving before three or after seven if you are driving. From Mġarr harbour it is roughly twenty-five minutes to Marsalforn by car and about forty by bus via Victoria. Guests flying in late often take the last crossings and check in at midnight without trouble — the door code works whenever you get here, and we are a message away.
A few practical notes before you confirm. Street parking is free and generally easy a minute or two from the building, and a hire car is useful for Dwejra, Ta' Pinu and the western villages but unnecessary for a Marsalforn-based week. The apartment sleeps four in two bedrooms; we do not add extra beds, because the comfort of the space is the point. Cots and high chairs can be arranged with notice at no charge. Pets, parties and events are not permitted, and quiet hours run from eleven at night out of respect for neighbours who live here year round. If anything about your dates, your group or your travel plans sits outside the standard booking flow, write to us first — almost everything can be arranged with a little notice.
