Grand Homes Gozo is a small, family-run collection based in Marsalforn, the fishing village on Gozo's north coast that turns into the island's most relaxed summer bay. We keep the collection deliberately short: every home is one we look after ourselves, so linen, cleaning, maintenance and the welcome are handled by the same hands rather than an agency rota.

GrandBlue Vista is the flagship: a fifth-floor, sea-facing apartment with two bedrooms, sleeping four, a wide terrace for sunsets over the salt pans, air conditioning throughout, a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and a lift. It sits a few minutes' walk from the promenade, the bakery and the bus stop for Victoria, Ramla Bay and the Citadel.

Calypso Grand Oasis is the inland counterpoint: a contemporary three-bedroom apartment in the village of Xagħra, sleeping six, a few minutes from the Ġgantija Temples and a short drive from the red sand of Ramla Bay. Both homes are bookable directly with us — no platform fees, flexible arrival times, and hosts who answer on WhatsApp the same day. Direct guests also join our referral circle, which returns 10% cash back on stays booked by friends.

Why Marsalforn, and why Gozo

Gozo is the smaller, greener sister island to Malta, reached by a twenty-five minute ferry from Ċirkewwa to Mġarr. It is a place of terraced fields, honey-coloured stone villages, sheer northern cliffs and some of the clearest diving water in the Mediterranean. Marsalforn sits on the north coast: a working fishing village for most of the year that becomes the island's most easygoing summer bay, with a promenade of restaurants, a swimming platform, boat trips and a bakery that opens at six. It is central enough to reach Victoria in ten minutes, yet far enough from the crowds that evenings stay quiet.

From either home you can walk the coast road west to the Xwejni salt pans, still worked by hand each summer, and on to the hidden gorge at Wied il-Għasri. Ramla Bay's red sand and the Blue Hole at Dwejra are both a short drive away, as are the Ġgantija temples, older than the pyramids. Spring and autumn bring warm sea and empty paths; high summer brings festas, fireworks and long, slow dinners outdoors.

Booking directly with us

Every stay is confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the balance due before arrival. Rates are seasonal — higher across July, August and September, lower through the rest of the year — and always shown in full, with no cleaning surprises or platform commission added at the end. You can check live availability on our calendar, hold dates through the enquiry form, and pay by card or bank transfer. Airport transfers, cot and highchair hire, boat trips and diving introductions can all be arranged in advance.

If you are unsure which dates suit, or whether Gozo in November is a good idea — it very often is — write to us. We answer every message ourselves, usually the same day, and we would rather tell you honestly that a week is wrong for what you want than take a booking that disappoints.
